So this week was a pretty normal week.
On Friday my comp and I had interviews with president and right after that he got emergency transferred. So right now im in a trio with the 2 elders I live with. Im waiting right now to recieve my new comp. We have our next transfers June 18th so I think im going to have to wait till then. Its hard being in a trio, I feel like I dont get that much time to teach now but Ill just have to get used to it.
This week I also got a little sick with a cold and my throat has been killing me. Its been really hard to talk to people but Im getting over it now so this week should be really good!

This week was really good and we are having a lot of progress in our area.
This week on wednesday, one of our investigatores was going to have his baptism interview with our district leader to be baptized on friday. He called us a 30 minutes before his interview and told us that he didnt want to do it and he would think more about getting bapitzed. So we went to visit him on friday with a really good member. He talked pretty much the whole time and I didnt have to do any talking. He just talked about how he already has a testimony and should just get baptized and how he can be an example for his friend and help them and even baptize them when they are ready. He really got him excited to be baptized again and he should be getting baptized this friday. He is really prepared and im really excited to see him get baptized.
We also have been working a lot with 2 recent converts, the sangary family and ramirez family. They are 2 families that are going throught a lot of problems, mainly with the fathers of the family. The fathers have pretty much stopped coming to church and the wives are really sad. We visited both families a lot this week and they both came to church this week in a really long time. The two of them are doing really well and progressing a lot. We really are trying to get them to go to the temple and be sealed. The wives of these two family really want to go to the temple but their husbands arent doing the things they should to go. We are helping them a lot.
Thats about all that happened this week. I really hope that we are going to have that baptism this week.

May 11th, Transfers!
Not too much happened this week so its probably going to be a short email.
This week my Elder ZaldÃvar was transferred to Trinidad. So he had to travel by airplane to get there. I got my new comp. Hes really cool. He is from Bolivia from a city called Oruro. I don't know to much about him still. We have had a few lessons this week with some random contacts and the lessons go really well. We teach very well together.
We haven't been able to get a hold of any of our investigators that were progressing really well this week. But we did have a lot of really good lessons with some new people this week. Hopefully we will get some good lessons this week and have a lot of progression with our investigators.

All those ants were outside our wall. We got rid of them though!

This week was really good. We did have some hard time finding people to teach this week. A lot of people told us to just come back tomorrow and we couldnt find them.
Elder Britt
We did start teaching a part member family this week. They are the palacio family. The husband is a really old less active and her wife is an investigator that comes to church almost every week. We have tried visiting them so many times but the husband is a taxi driver that works almost all day. But finally we were able to find them. We had a really powerful lesson with them and we were able to visit them 2 times this week. I think we will finally be able to teach them now.
We also have been able to visit a lot with alex. we have started to read the book of mormon with him. We leave just one chapter for him to read and the next day we come back and hes read like 4 chapters. He is progressing really well. Im pretty sure he will be baptized if we can just get the permission from his parents.
We are still trying to contact a lot in this area but its pretty hard. We can almost always get a visit with somebody to come back and teach them but they are almost never there. We did get a lot of references to a lot of less actives and part member families yesterday in ward council.
I'm looking forward to this week!
Elder Britt
